It's easy: we tackled our journeys on two wheels instead of four and counted our kilometres. Thanks to "Stadtradeln" for this great campaign!
Thanks to the twelve cyclists of the OWIS team for cycling 5,500 kilometres as part of STADTRADELN 2024. That's roughly the distance from London to New York. We even took first place in the "kilometres per head" ranking in Staufen/Germany. We did our very best and we are proud of it!
5,500 kilometres also means 904.2 kilograms/tonnes of CO2 avoided. A clear success! Not only for the climate, but also for your own health. Wow!
We really enjoyed the campaign and are convinced:
